From product brief to a written order
Use these five steps to organize the purchasing conversation. Availability, customization scope and commercial terms need confirmation for the selected products and destination.
1. Define the market and product range
Describe the end users, typical working conditions and intended applications. Review the generator and pressure washer ranges, then shortlist models rather than choosing by maximum power or pressure alone. For each destination country, identify the configuration and documentation questions that need review.
2. Review configuration, quotation and samples
Ask for a quotation that identifies the exact model, rated specifications, accessories and configuration. Discuss MOQ, pricing, payment and shipment terms together. If a sample is appropriate, agree its specification, cost, shipping and evaluation criteria before ordering; confirm what the evaluation will establish.
3. Confirm packaging and brand details
For an OEM project, discuss logo placement, color, carton artwork, labels and manual language. Request packing dimensions and weight for shipment planning. Agree the customization scope and artwork approval process, and keep the approved version with the order specification.
4. Put the first order in writing
Confirm model quantities, agreed specifications, included accessories, packing and the documents accompanying the shipment. Record payment terms, production lead time, inspection requirements, shipment terms and destination port. Use the first-order guide to check for missing details before confirming the purchase.
5. Plan spare parts and after-sales handling
Request a parts list matched to the exact configuration and discuss an initial selection of service items. Confirm supply terms, warranty coverage and exclusions, claim evidence and the support contact. Agree who handles local service and how replacement parts, shipping and possible service costs are managed.
